Kate and Laurie are the most eccentric sleepers I have ever roomed with.
Kate somehow manages to fall asleep in front of her lit computer screen every single night. Even on nights when she consciously takes her headphones out and closes the laptop, she still wakes up in the morning back in the same position. Meaning that in her sleep, Kate opens her computer and puts back in her headphones...
The running theory is that she's been sleep-online-shopping for useless expensive things.
And then there's Laurie. The sleep talking, half-dreaming, super confused sleeping Laurie. Tonight for instance, after she had been asleep for hours, she shouts "WHAT?" I look over to where she's sleeping (we have sidebyside tops of bunk beds) and I see Laurie slowly begin to stand up in her bed. I freak out, afraid that she's dreaming that she's actually standing on a diving board or something, and quickly climb into her bed to wake her up.
"Laurie! Laurie...sit down."
"I'm awake! What, I'm awake. I am. Awake."
"Ok, but why don't you sit down right now. You're in a bunk bed, Laurie."
"But I thought you wanted...to talk about the mice. The mouse. Didn't you see...the..mouse?"
"...alright, Crazy Pants."
I notice you were not brave enough to chronicle what they say about YOU at night! lol.
