Spending time with my one and only brother is a rare treat for me as I only see him a few times a year. So...we made a special outing to the Baltimore Zoo to celebrate sibling togetherness.
"Lock eyes with a polar bear" the zoo instructed us. We tried.
...but the polar bear was too busy banging his head against a rock to notice us. The east coast summer heat must have finally gotten to his brain.
On to the lions!
This guy, no joke, just sniffed the lioness' urine, made this face, and then froze like that. I guess I'd be mad too if someone peed in my room.
On to the giraffes! Fun fact: Ralph is almost as tall as a baby giraffe!
Fun fact: Shannon is not.
On the tram ride back, Ralph made a friend. An adorable, chubby, beaming, bright-eyed friend.
Zoo accomplished.
