Why are we in Scotland? We came to take part in the largest arts festival in the world, The Edinburgh Fringe!
It is quite the month-long event; last year it featured 2,098 different shows, staged 34,265 performances in 265 venues by 18,091 performers.
One of those 18,091 performers was ME! (Photo by Sarah-Ruth Maier)
In 2009 we took 'The Grind Show' to the festival and performed every day for a month. For 30 days we lived, breathed, and bled that show. Here we are handing out fliers on the Royal Mile.
This year is very different.
Our show, "Ithaca I'll Never See" has been invited to participate in a cabaret of shows called the Kabaret Kantor. So unlike last year, we have just one performance, one chance to get it right.
After months and months of rehearsal, it all comes down to one 40-minute slot. Let the fun begin.
